“Her work goes beyond guidance classes. She works hard to meet the social, emotional, and mental health needs of our students. Kelli also operates our food and clothes pantry and makes sure students have hygiene products, school supplies, and everything they need. We couldn’t do it without her!”

From Katie Edlemon (WHS):
“Mrs. Tubbs and Mrs. Etter are the heartbeat of our campus. From schedules and college planning to listening ears and constant support, they go above and beyond every single day to help our students succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally. We are so grateful for all they do for our Warriors!”

Join us at WMS for parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, February 5th from 3:30-8:30 pm. These are drop-in conferences with your student's homeroom teacher. We are not doing student-led conferences due to not being able to plan and schedule them because of the weather. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday.

November Bus Driver of the Month: Melissa Haskett Melissa Haskett exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding bus driver. She is dependable, caring, and always puts student safety first. Melissa builds positive relationships with her riders, maintains a calm and professional attitude, and takes pride in her work each and every day. Her dedication truly sets her apart—she has not missed work in almost five years, a testament to her reliability and commitment. We are grateful for all that Melissa does for our students, families, and transportation department. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition! 🚌👏

🏀WHS Basketball Schedule Update – End of Week 🏀

Due to the projected timing of the forecasted weather, the following schedule changes are being made to ensure the safety of our students and fans traveling to the games.

Boys Basketball will NOT play on Friday, January 23rd.
Both Boys & Girls Basketball will play on Thursday, January 22nd at Pocahontas. NO 7th grade games.

The 6th and 7th grade dance that was originally schedule for Friday, January 16th has been rescheduled for Friday, February 6th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Congratulations to our 5th and 6th grade GT students whose stories were selected for the Williams Baptist University Writing Competition!

Fifth graders Liddy Hazelwood, Paisley May and Lane Dillinger, along with sixth graders Elliott Ford and Easton Dement, had their stories chosen to be included in the script for the WBU Spring Drama Performance.

We are so proud of these students and their outstanding writing achievements! ❤️🤍
