Warrior Event Calendar for August 15th-19th!

On Monday, August 15, 2022, Warrior Jr/Sr Football teams will travel to Piggott High School for a preseason benefit game. Game time for Jr High will be at 6pm with Sr High to follow at 7pm. Admission is $5 per person (students & adults). Come root for your Warriors!! ❤🏈❤🏈 #WarriorNation

WHS parents and students, This is a reminder of the grade 9-12 Open House at WHS tonight. This will be from 6:00-8:00pm. The 21-22 yearbooks will be available for pickup tonight during the High School Open House. Pick up in Mrs. Cureton’s room. Also if you ordered a book from previous year, please pick that up. We hope to see you tonight!

WHS National Honor Society will host the school year's first blood drive on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in the high school library from 9:30-3:30. WHS Reminder: We will have 8th grade open house tonight from 6:00-8:00 pm at the high school. The 9th-12th grade open house will be on Thursday night from 6:00-8:00 pm. Parents and students are encouraged to stop in and see their teachers for the upcoming school year.

WHS teachers worked hard today learning about the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) and how they can be implemented to drive student improvement and success!

Reminder: There will be an athletic parent meeting held tonight in the Westside Fine Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. All parents of 7th-12th grade athletes are required to attend.

WHS Parents and students, HAC has been turned on for WHS so that students can see their schedules for the 22-23 school year. Due to class overcrowding and other factors, all schedules may still be adjusted therefore a student's schedule still may change. Please understand, these schedules ARE NOT FINAL. We are making these available so that parents can make use of them for the Tax Free weekend for school supplies. We are working hard to place students in the classes they need/requested for the 22-23 school year. This is a delicate balancing act that is still ongoing. There will be no schedule changes during open house. Students that would like a schedule change must follow the instructions that will be emailed to them by the end of next Friday, August 12th. Per the student handbook, schedule changes will begin on Tuesday, August 16th and will conclude by the end of the day on Monday, August 22nd. Tuesday, August 16, 2022 will be the first day of classes for Westside Schools. We look forward to seeing all of our students back on campus.

Students entering grades 8-12 should pick up Chromebooks in the high school library on Wednesday, August 3rd, between 1 P.M. and 7 P.M. or Friday, August 5th, between 7 A.M. and 1 P.M. Parent and student must both sign paperwork. Please note: Chromebooks will NOT be available for pick up during open house.
