WHS AFJROTC Cadets stepped up today to help the city of Bono, filling sandbags in preparation for the incoming rain. Their hard work and dedication show what it means to serve the community in times of need. Proud of these cadets for demonstrating leadership and teamwork!

Miss Ward’s Plant Science class, part of WHS Agriculture, is teaming up with the WHS Science Club to give the elementary school’s Outdoor Classroom a much-needed refresh! Today, we rolled up our sleeves and started cleaning out the plant beds to make way for new growth.
Once the weather cooperates, we’ll finish prepping the beds, and Mrs. Smith’s Science Club will take over to start planting! Stay tuned for the transformation! #WarriorsAtWork

Due to the timing of the impending severe weather, Westside will be releasing early on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Buses will be departing the High School at 1:00 pm. Please make sure to adjust your afternoon schedules accordingly. All AfterCare and Athletics will be cancelled as well. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to ensure the safety of all of Warrior Nation!

As you are aware, the national weather service is calling for a strong chance of severe weather tomorrow afternoon. Westside is monitoring these storms carefully for high winds, heavy rains, and possible hail. As the forecast starts to solidify tomorrow, we could possibly see early dismissal as an option as a means to safely get both students and staff home prior to the onset of severe weather. Please keep this in mind when deciding travel options for your students tomorrow. The safety of the Warrior student body and faculty are paramount for our district.

WHS Senior Garrett Curtis is at Russellville High School with the All-State Choirs, rehearsing for his part with the TTBB Choir! The choir will take stage tonight at 6pm.
Congratulations, Garrett! We know you'll represent Westside well! ❤🤍
