This weekend the "Westside Big Band" performed at the ARJE State Jazz Festival held at Nettleton High School. The band received superior ratings, and the judges selected Kelsie Cobb and Carson Brinkley as outstanding soloists from the group. The band is made up of 7-12 grade students and has only met once a week after school leading up to the festival! Great job, Warriors! ❤🤍

There will be a combined bus route today. Bus 90 will be taking bus 90 and bus 73 kids home together today. Bus 90 kids will be home about 15-20 minutes late.

Track & Trap Senior Night Reminder! Mark your calendars for our Senior Night celebration on April 22nd, honoring our talented Track & Trap seniors! 🎓🏃‍♂️🎯 The festivities will take place on the Warrior Football Field between the girls and boys soccer matches. 🕓 Escort Arrival Time: 6:15pm with festivities starting at approximately 6:30pm Congratulations Lanie, Avery, Slade, Tyler, Cayden, Jordan, Cole P., Cole C., Jackson, Hayden and Colton!

Today was a day of triumph and support at the Special Olympics Track and Field events! WHS Athletes showcased their incredible talents while students cheered them on, showing true sportsmanship. It's a great day to be a Warrior! ♥️🤍

Congratulations to the Senior High choirs for their beautiful performances today at State Assessment! The Concert Choir received an overall Excellent rating and the Ladies Choir received straight Superior ratings. The Select Mixed Ensemble also received straight Superior ratings and a Sweepstakes Award. The choir also received Best in Class and Best Overall in Class for small ensembles! Great job, Warriors! ♥️🤍

Athletic physicals are required for any student athlete participating in any sport at Westside for students entering grades 7th - 12th for the 2024-2025 school year. St. Bernards Sports Medicine is proud to coordinate this year’s 2024-25 athletic physicals for local schools free of charge. The evaluations will be held on SUNDAY – APRIL 21st at the ST BERNARDS AUDITORIUM – 505 East Washington. Please note the location and please REQUIRE athletes to arrive at their specific time due to space limitations. Junior high is for those students entering 7th-8th grade this fall, and senior high is for those students entering 9th – 12th grade. The Student Council had an amazing weekend at Subiaco Academy for our annual AASC State Conference! We achieved gold member status, won the project competitions in community service and school spirit. Chloe Cerrato and Ava Mosier were awarded $500 leadership scholarships. Chloe Cerrato and Ella Sloan won the dance captain competition. Chloe Cerrato also won the senior high speech competition. We are so proud of our council’s accomplishments!
