📣 Important Announcement for Homeschool Families in the Westside Consolidated School District! If you are the parent of a homeschooled child who meets the following criteria, this is for you. The Westside Consolidated School District, Office of Special Education, will hold a meeting with parents of students: *who live in the school district, *have a child who has/had an IEP in a public school setting, *and are currently homeschooling. Your child may be eligible to receive equitable services through a service plan. Please join Dr. Kammerer on Friday, April 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. WHS Science Club and agri students worked together to plant perennials and pollinators in the Elementary outdoor classroom planters! These flowers will spread to fill the planters and come back every year to promote the presence of pollinators!

Today, WHS AFJROTC cadets packed an incredible 19,200 meals at the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas — pushing the unit past a major milestone of 1,000,000 meals packed in service to their community! This achievement is a testament to their ongoing commitment to leadership, service, and making a real difference. We are incredibly proud of these cadets and their dedication to helping fight food insecurity in Northeast Arkansas. Aim High, Warriors—Serve Proud! ♥️🤍

Another great day for Westside Trap! We’re proud to share some awesome results from Sunday's YSS Format Youth Trapshooting Tournament, sponsored by Harmony Hearing Center! • Sr 1 Squad took 1st Place! • Brayden Willis shot an impressive 49/50 and battled it out in a shootoff for HOA, finishing as Runner-Up! • Jr 2 Squad secured a strong 2nd Place finish. • Jr 1 Squad came in 4th, showing great effort and determination. Huge shoutout to all our shooters for their hard work and sportsmanship. What a fantastic day of competition—way to represent, Westside Trap! ♥️🤍

Attention WHS students and parents. Please see the image for the WHS ATLAS testing schedule. It is important to show up early to school each morning the student tests. Late students will not be able to enter the testing rooms once the tests begin. Also make sure chromebooks are charged and brought to school for each testing day.

🥎Softball Senior Night🥎 Join us as we celebrate our amazing WHS Softball Seniors this Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the WHS Softball Field! Ceremony begins at 4:15 PM (before the game). All participants and escorts should arrive by 4:05 PM. Let’s pack the stands and cheer on these athletes who’ve given their all to the program. It’s their time to shine—on and off the field! ❤🤍

Westside Jr. High FBLA members traveled to Little Rock today to attend the State Leadership Conference — and they made us proud! Representing Westside were: Audrey Miehl Yudeski Rodriguez Kyle Hausman-Taku A special congratulations to Audrey Miehl, who placed 4th and qualified for the National FBLA Conference in Anaheim, California — coming up June 29–July 2, 2025! These students showed professionalism, leadership, and true Warrior spirit. Great job, Warriors! ❤🤍

NHS officers Abby James, Ruby Kate Sample, Emerson Kimberling, and Lillian Felts spoke with Jill Radio this morning about WHS's Terri Tyner Memorial Blood Drive, which will take place tomorrow from 8:30 to 2:30 in the high school library. Community members are invited to donate. Donors will receive free snacks and an e-gift card, as well as help save lives and help our students earn scholarships!

Making learning about WWI fun and memorable!!! Yesterday, Ms. Black’s World History classes participated in a WWI trench warfare simulation complete with a Christmas Truce - a little tooth breaking biscuits, kick about, and carols before and after 3 round of raids involving no man’s land.

Warriors Take the Win! Warrior Baseball came ready to play today at Arkansas State University, taking down Pocahontas 8-4! It's a great day to be a Warrior! ⚾️❤️🤍
