Westside FFA Competed yesterday and four of our teams put their skills to the test at the ASU-Beebe Ag Day CDE! They worked hard and gained valuable experience as they prepare and improve their skills for district competition next week. Weston, a dedicated member of the Warrior Basketball team, has shown outstanding commitment both on and off the court. As part of this recognition, Weston got to choose a teacher who has made a meaningful impact on his life. He selected Mr. Gage Sheffield, who was honored with a $250 gift card for his commitment to students. Way to go, Weston and Mr. Sheffield! Keep making Westside proud! 💪🔥❤🤍

We’re excited to announce that the Westside Spirit Blankets have arrived! Middle school and high school orders were distributed yesterday. Elementary orders will be dispersed this morning, and students will bring them home after school. Thank you for supporting the Middle School Band, and enjoy your new Spirit Blankets! ❤🤍

WHS Senior, Connor Davidson, was presented the DAR Good Citizen Award today at a ceremony held at the Jonesboro Public Library. DAR Good Citizens exemplify dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. Connor was selected by the WHS faculty and staff to receive this honor for the class of 2025. Congratulations Connor!

Today, the WHS AFJROTC cadets were honored by the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas for reaching an incredible milestone—1,000,000 meals packed! 🏆🥫👏👏 After completing their monthly packing session, the cadets were treated to a special lunch provided by the Food Bank as a token of appreciation. A huge thank you to the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas for their continued partnership! The Senior High District Basketball Tournament in Blytheville will resume tomorrow night, Friday, February 21, 2025. The Lady Warriors play at 4pm and the Warriors following at 5:30pm. Clear bag policy will be in effect and no cash accepted. Come out and show your support for our Warriors!

Members of the Westside High School Theatre Department attended the Arkansas State Thespian Festival this weekend. Our troupe earned a rating of excellent in all areas they competed in. We also had multiple individuals recognized for their work as well. Bryson Cross received All State Crew Ruby Kate Sample received All State Cast Emerson Kimberling was named Honor Thespian Lillian Felts was awarded the 2025 Arkansas EDTA Scholarship
