Need a dress for an upcoming prom or other formal event? The WHS Children's Volunteer Club (CVC) has a solution for you!
CVC will be hosting a Prom Pop-Up Shop & Bake Sale on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the high school gym lobby from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Dress drop off will be Friday, February 18th from 5-8 p.m. in the gym lobby. There will be a $10 entry fee for your dress and 20% of your sale will benefit the Buy A Bed, Give A Bed Charity. The dress entry and sale is open to the public. Warrior Basketball Update:
Friday, February 11, 2022 - Sr Girls & Boys will play at home vs Pocahontas with a game time of 6:00 p.m. for the girls and the boys to follow. Basketball Senior Night Festivities will also take place tonight at 5:45 p.m.
Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Sr Boys will play a home game against Southside at 3:00 p.m.

The WHS Baseball Team will be hosting a chili supper tonight, February 8th, from 5-7pm in the HS Cafeteria. Chili Supper tickets will be sold at the door for $10. Come out and support our Warriors with a bowl of chili and a basketball game against the Valley View Blazers. (Game admission is not included in supper ticket)

WHS Boys Basketball update: Due to official unavailability on Wednesday, the Sr Boys will play Southside on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 4pm.
WHS Boys Basketball games scheduled for tonight vs Pocahontas have been canceled and will be rescheduled for Friday, February 11, 2022 at home with a game time of 6pm. Senior Night for Girls/Boys Basketball will also be held during this game.
There will be no school for students on Friday, February, 11, 2022 for Teacher Professional Development makeup.

Senior Night for Archery & Bowling has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 8, 2022 during the Sr Girls/Boys Basketball games vs Valley View.
WHS Boys Basketball games for tonight , Wednesday, February 2, 2022, against Southside have been cancelled. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 will be the makeup date with a Sr High game only and played at home. The time is still to be determined. Please watch the district website/calendar at www.westsideschools.org for any updates.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 3:30-8:30 pm. We will continue with the virtual format. Parents can also request a face-to-face conference. Teachers will be reaching out this week to schedule conference times.

Jr High Baseball Tryouts will be held January 29th from 1-5pm and January 30th from 2-5pm at Joe Mack Campbell Park, Red Wolf Field. Open to 7th & 8th grade Westside students and baseball attire is recommended. Please see school website or app for more information.

It’s a great day of learning for 5th grade students at WMS. Whether is chromatography in science, non-fiction informational text in language arts, or active listening reinforcing our social contracts in math, our 5th graders have it going on today!
There will be no school for Westside Consolidated School District on December 20, 2021 through January 3, 2022. Students will return on January 4, 2022.
