WMS Arrival Reminder for the first day of school
Car riders should be dropped off at 7:30 am. That is when the doors will open and staff will go on duty. Students will go to the cafeteria if they are eating breakfast or to the gym if they aren't eating breakfast.
Bus riders will enter the school on the 6th grade breezeway and report to the cafeteria if eating breakfast and the gym if not eating breakfast.
Warrior Event Calendar for August 15th-19th!
On Monday, August 15, 2022, Warrior Jr/Sr Football teams will travel to Piggott High School for a preseason benefit game. Game time for Jr High will be at 6pm with Sr High to follow at 7pm. Admission is $5 per person (students & adults).

Open House for 6th and 7th grade students and families is tonight from 6-8 pm at WMS. We will have photo backdrops to take those back to school pics. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
WHS National Honor Society will host the school year's first blood drive on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in the high school library from 9:30-3:30. Please sign up to help save lives and earn scholarships for our seniors!

Westside Middle School will have our Open House for 5th grade tonight from 6-8 pm. Families will be able to go directly to the classrooms to meet and visit with teachers and staff. We will also have photo booths available for you take pictures with and of your student. Also, our school nurse will be present if you need to bring any student medication up to school or to discuss any student health concerns.
Reminder: 6th and 7th grade Open House will be on Thursday, August 11th from 6-8 pm
Reminder: There will be an athletic parent meeting held tonight in the Westside Fine Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. All parents of 7th-12th grade athletes are required to attend.

2022 Sales Tax Holiday
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday August 6, 2022, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday August 7, 2022, the State of Arkansas will hold its sales tax holiday allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain Electronic Devices, School Supplies, School Art Supplies, School Instructional Materials, and Clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.

Tuesday, August 16, 2022 will be the first day of classes for Westside Schools. We look forward to seeing all of our students back on campus.
