Shoutout to our WMS Student Council! Tonight, our School Board recognized these outstanding students for their many contributions to both school and community. From welcoming new students, showing appreciation to teachers, organizing a fall food drive for the Backpack Program, and partnering with Make-A-Wish to grant six wishes most recently — to providing Christmas support for community members and even working on a volleyball project for the school playground — this group truly goes above and beyond. What makes it even more impressive is that so much of what they do is on their own time, volunteering to make a difference. WMS Arrival reminders: Upon arrival, students who eat breakfast will go to the cafeteria to eat. Students who aren't eating breakfast at school will go to the gym for morning assembly. We will have several adults on duty to help students get to the location they need to in the morning.

WMS Student Google Accounts are being reset today. Students won't have access to them overnight . They will regain access tomorrow when they arrive at school and receive their new login information. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The 2025–2026 school year is almost here, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back! School starts tomorrow, Wednesday, August 13th!

WMS is excited to welcome 6th and 7th grade students to Open House tonight. Doors will open at 6:00 and students will be able to go directly to class to meet their teachers.

Middle School Intramural Volleyball sign up forms are ready in the office and can be picked up now. They are due to be turned in on August 18, 2025.

The WMS school nurse will be on hand for anyone who needs to bring medicines or has medical education-related questions regarding their students at both open house days this week.

WMS is excited to welcome our new 5th graders tomorrow night at Open House from 6-8 pm. We will begin in the WMS gym with a combined session to go over some new policies, procedures, and routines with everyone, and then we will dismiss to the classrooms so that you can meet the teachers. We look forward to seeing you there.
