Westside Consolidated School District is proud to announce that we have been designated as a Purple Star School District by the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Council for Military Children. This prestigious recognition is awarded to schools and districts that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families.
Westside is honored to be the first district in the Northeast Arkansas Education Co-op to receive this designation, further highlighting our dedication to providing resources, programs, and a welcoming environment for those who serve our nation.
We are proud to support our military families and will continue striving to meet their unique educational and social needs.
If you are a military family with children in our district and have not yet registered your military status with the school, please reach out to Pam Dooley, Westside Military Education Coordinator, at pdooley@westsideschools.org. This helps us better support and serve our military-connected students and families. Thank you for your service!

Westside Elementary GT students had an exciting opportunity to watch a performance by Williams Baptist University drama students—a play they helped create!
A special shoutout to Rylan Brodell and Sadie Tate, whose writing was selected to be featured in The Story Store production. They were honored on stage and received a copy of the script!
Our GT students had a fantastic time and look forward to participating again in the future. Way to go, Warriors!

First Community Bank honored Superintendent Scott Gauntt as December’s Bus Driver of the Month recently, recognizing his dedication to not only steering our district forward but also ensuring students get to and from school safely each day.
From driving a bus to supporting students and staff in countless ways, Mr. Gauntt truly embodies the spirit of servant leadership. His commitment to Westside goes beyond the title of Superintendent—he wears many hats and is always willing to step up where needed.
Congratulations, Mr. Gauntt! Your dedication to our students, staff, and community does not go unnoticed! ❤🤍
